At the company I work for, I am pushing Mozilla forward, since I get crazy of
updates. Everything goes OK, except the intranet. As you can imagine this is
quite important.
The intranet links to files like this: file:///m:/list/list.xls
Mozilla then says "Security Error: Content at url may not load or link to
file:///something" which is correct, but unwanted for me.
To install Mozilla is simple (Terminal Server), but making an user.js for
everyone is annoying.
So far I don't know of a better solution than is said here:
http://www.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla1.5/known-issues.html.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Mozilla
2. Go to a page that links to a local file.
3.
Actual Results:
Got a Security error.
Expected Results:
Open the file.
Major problem for using Mozilla in our organisation.
