259511 - Firefox gets wrong desktop folder for downloading

In the edit->preferences->Downloads if the download folder is set to "Desktop"
firefox doesn't treat that well. The file gets downloaded to HOME directory
instead of /home/<usr>/desktop.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to Edit->preferences->Downloads
2.set the download folder to Desktop
3.

Actual Results:  
The file gets downloaded to HOME directory

Expected Results:  
It should get downloaded to Desktop directory

This is reported on windows platform
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=228977. And the patch is available
for other OS like MAC,OS2.
