User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040914 Firefox/0.10 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040914 Firefox/0.10 Even though BugMeNot says that its 0.6 (latest version) extension works in Firefox 1.0PR, installing it produces no visible change in the browser. The Extensions manager says that it's installed, and you can edit options and attempt updates and uninstall it. However, BugMeNot is supposed to add an entry to the right-click context menu. It does not do so, and there is no other way to access the BugMeNot functions within the browser, making the extension useless. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to www.bugmenot.com 2.Click on "firefox extension" (a link near the bottom of the page) and install it. 3.Once you have finished installing the software, restart Firefox. 4.Load any webpage. 5.Right-click. Actual Results: There was no BugMeNot entry in the context menu. Expected Results: There should have been a BugMeNot entry in the right-click context menu. The best way to install 0.6 is through the website; Firefox Update can be somewhat buggy for this one.
This is not a Firefox bug, please report extension bugs to their respective authors, in this case: http://extensions.roachfiend.com/ INVALID p.s. It looks like the extension has been changed to only show the menu option inside certain text fields, make sure that is where you are clicking.
