Please note however that this is not a problem when the URL is opened via a new window and the window is closed. To reproduce the problem again, all the cookies from that website should be removed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Delete any cookies from newscientist.com 2. Open the newscientist url in a new tabbed window in Firefox. http://www.newscientist.com/news/news.jsp?id=ns99996409 3. Firefox correctly blocks the popup by showing the "Firefox has prevented this site from opening up a popup window." 4. Close the tabbed window and the blocked popup appears. I believe the popup should not appear at all. Actual Results: Popup appears. Expected Results: Popup should be blocked. Using Firefox 1.0PR on Windows 20000.
