Btw, no this is not a duplicate of 21940
In build 2000012812
If you unselect Navigator Toolbar from the View/Toolbars menu having the actual
bar removed, when you reselect this toolbar, the toolbar not only doesn't
display the text, it also completly stops working, aka I can't type into the
location bar.

Seeing this also on Linux build 2000.01.31.14. Toolbar buttons still work, but
no text is displayed in the location bar. Key events make it to the location
bar text box, though, as you can see when you press Enter or click on the search
button.

hmmm, looks the same as 21940 to me
In the 21940 the problem was simply the text dissapeared (if you just hide it
as it click on the right of the bar). Now a new problem has popped up that if
you remove it with the view menu and then readd it, not only is the text gone,
but you can't type new text into it. Anyways most importantly, I typed this bug
into 21940's comments and was emailed by Steve Clark, telling me to resumbit
this as a new bug... Geez :)

Tested on today's win32 build (ID 20000021608) under win98 and it seems to work
fine.
Steps for testing (reporter, if I'm not doing this right please say so):
1. open mozilla.
2. type into the URL bar some text.
3. Veiw->Toolbars->Navigator Toolbar (removes the toolbar)
4. View->Toolbars->Navigator Toolbar (restores the toolbar)
5. see the text in URL bar still exists.
6. type some new text and see it display.
I found it worked as expected.

I tested this also, and it works for me. i'm using winNT build 2000021608. Not
only can I type in the location bar after remove/reselect. I can load web pages
using the toolbar.
