installed firefox 1.0pr, deinstalled 0.9.3 before and deleted all registry
entries and the old profile...bug: I right click on a folder in my bookmarks

if I don't close and reopen, but just continue browsing, Firefox crashes with
that application crash window with a mem address in it.....and the sorting has
not taken place, as I can see, when I close the crash window and open a new firefox.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. right click and chose sort by name on any folder in bookmarks toolbar
2. continue browsing
3.
Actual Results:
crash
Expected Results:

I have german window, but it said:
Command in Address 0xXXXXXXx pointint to mem address 0xXXXXXXXX......"read"
could not be executed..... :)

BTW: It also crashes in any case (no matter if open/close or not) when sorting
large folders (with many bookmarks) from bookmarks toolbar.
Hmm.. is this crashing with a clean profile? It sounds like it is, but I wanted
to make sure. No extensions installed, etc.?

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".
This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
