Details

The following is with winxp german Seamonkey 2004090507 trunk.

I just downloaded mail, and mailnews got completely unresponsive. the last mail
seemed to contain something terrific. I did not get the mail message to display
when I selected the mail messsage. When I run the Norton Antivirus it finds the
W32.. virus and can not repair it but isolates it. So I have now the inbox file
isolated (its 32MB). How should I proceed. Sent the isolated file to Symantec?
I dont know how to transfer the nonisolated file anywhere else. I can however
run a debug mail version with todays trunk and provide vnc if somebody wants to
work on this on my machine.

I am not sure that this is a dupe.
1. I dont have the antivirus email protection running.
so the second step of bug 116443 is not happening.
>I receive an infected mail. My NAV software pops up and warns me.
I did run the antivirus software afterwards over the machine because i got
suspicious.

Or in other words I would expect that I see the mail and the infected
attachment. That i will not launch the attachment is clear.
