Details
I a product called PhoneValet by Parliant software on OS X. The software adds
itself to general OS X "services" menu items which allows you to "dial" any
phone number selected on screen. At least that's the idea. Unfortunately, when
you select text in Mozilla, access the OSX Services menu, all of the dial
options are greyed out. Selecting the same web page text (a phone number) in
Safari and "dialing" works just fine. Presumably Mozilla isn't exposing its
content to the system the same way Safari is, which means this feature of the
PhoneValet does not work when using Mozilla.

For that matter, none of the Services are available w/ Mozilla. Changing summary
from: "Incompatibility with Parliant PhoneValet dialing feature".
Here's an article on Services support:
http://developer.apple.com/documentation/MacOSX/Conceptual/AppleSWDesign/DesignGuidelines/chapter_4_section_7.html
Summary: Incompatibility with Parliant PhoneValet dialing feature → No OS X Services support.
