1.0rc1 crashes very often (every 20 min), compared to 0.9x (once when i used
it). especially on html "open in a new window", either via javascript, or link
target="_blank".

The latest Firefox release hasn't crashed on me yet. I've been using it since
the day it was released, on Linux and Windows. WFM.

Try running it with a clean profile and from a clean install. Most likely either
you installed over a previous release, or your profile is corrupted somehow.

Some folks on comp.os.linux.slackware are also complaining about this.  I'll
drop them a line about this bug.
