The latest Firefox release hasn't crashed on me yet. I've been using it since the day it was released, on Linux and Windows. WFM. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10
Try running it with a clean profile and from a clean install. Most likely either you installed over a previous release, or your profile is corrupted somehow. Can you provide some talkback IDs?
Some folks on comp.os.linux.slackware are also complaining about this. I'll drop them a line about this bug.
