Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040707 Firefox/0.9.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040707 Firefox/0.9.2 when using the mouse wheel in the print preview area, the [paginated] document will stop scrolling while the pointer is over the page headers, footers or margins (but oddly, not while its over the "gray area" around each page). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. print preview a web page that spans multiple printed pages 2. put your cursor in the top 1/3 of the page 3. use the mouse wheel to scroll down the preview 4. when the first page's footer moves under the pointer, the scrolling will stop 5. move your cursor to the bottom 1/3 of the page 6. use the mouse wheel to scroll up 7. when the second page's header moves under the pointer, the scrolling stops again 8. move your mouse to the "gray area" between the 2 pages 9. you should be able to scroll up (or down) before coming to the footer (or header) and the scroll stopping 10. move your pointer to the margin of the page 11. you should not be able to scroll Actual Results: wheel scrolling stops whenever the mouse pointer is over part of the page that is not part of the original web page (ie, the header, footer) Expected Results: the wheel should cause the page to scroll no matter where the pointer is in the window.
I can reproduce this problem in same way. User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; ja-JP; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050318 Firefox/1.0.2 User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050323 The problem is reproduced on the both build.
This was already reported, duping to the older bug which has more info and test cases. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 111432 ***
