Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open http://wunschliste.de/index.pl?vote&r=00&abc=B 2. Select the text from "Buffalo Bill jr." to the end of the following "Buffy" section, i.e. "... (3.11.). 3. Do a "View Selection Source" for this selection. 4. Window "DOM Source" opens 5. Mozilla runs a few seconds with full load and then crashes 6. Console error message appears: '/opt/mozilla/run-mozilla.sh: line 423: 16100 Speicherzugriffsfehler "$prog" ${1+"$@"}' Actual Results: Mozilla crashes Expected Results: Mozilla should not crash The bug did not appear on self-build CVS of 20040529. It is present on every later version. (More information on the upcoming upload of additional data.)
The bug is reproducable even on the "Save as ... Web Page, complete". It's attached here in a ZIP file.
Note the strange japanese-like selection

Seems to happen too with Windows OS, I can confirm this with: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8a4) Gecko/20040926 Mnenhy/0.6.0.104 {Build ID 2004092600}
Do you have a Talkback ID? This could very well be the same bug as bug 252970.
