This would save space and time from having to switch between windows, especialy for those with small monitors. If users wanted to change back to opening links to other windows in a new window, they could do so in prefs.. To be more specific: it would be great if a feature was added that allowed links pointing to new windows to be opened, would instead open the new page in a new tab instead, thus saving space.
