I have a similar problem. When I click Read mail from the Tools Menu or the menu button, Firefox opens MSN Explorer when my default email handler is Microsoft Outlook. Please Help!!!
*** Bug 262036 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
This is working for me with TB 1.0 and FF 1.0, under Windows 2000.
I have this problem. Read mail was opening Foxmail 4.1 even though I had set my internet mail client to Thunderbird 1.0. I went through the registry and changed all foxmail.exe entries to point to foxmail 5.0 (in a different folder) instead of Foxmail 4.1 -- Now nothing happens when I click Read mail. I can find nothing in Docs to indicate where Firefox gets the mail program path. Compose new mail does fire Thunderbird - go figure.
