Corrupted msf (index) file prevents getting mails

Details
To reproduce: 1. Create one or more pop3 accounts (maybe it matters that i use a global inbox). Don't save the password for it. 2. Re-Open MailNews (or even Mozilla) and cancel the password dialog when starting up MailNews. 3. Click on the Get Msgs button, nothing happens. Also File->Get New Messages for all accounts or a single account does nothing. In the JS console no error appears. Maybe this is a regression, but i'm not really sure.

Ok, this seems to be a problem with this profile, since it doesn't happen with another profile (but don't ask how my profile got in this state, i just did normal surfing). I also noticed that no second dialog box appeared asking for my password after i canceled the password request for my first account. Normally a second dialog asking for my password should appear (and it does with a new profile).

Ok, deleting the msf file for the Inbox from one account made the 2nd password account appear again. And deleting the Inbox msf file from the Inbox in Local Folders made the Get Msgs button work again...
Summary: When canceling password dialog, you can't get mail later → Corrupted msf (index) file prevents getting mails

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter. Still valid in Thunderbird 1.5.0.8. Msf files keep getting corrupted. When Tbird crashes, I delete a few msf files (inbox, junk) and then tbird works for a few more days.
