Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041006 Firefox/0.10.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041006 Firefox/0.10.1 When you go into Tools-->Options-->Privacy-->Cache, there is no button available to view the stored cache. This is available in IE and is a useful feature. The cookies menu has it right when it shows a "View cookies" button and pops up a menu so you can view the cookies on your computer. Solution: Add "View Cache" button. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Tools 2.Options 3.Privacy 4.Cache 5.No button - can't see cache :( Actual Results: I couldn't find out what cache the browser was storing. Expected Results: It should have shown a button that said "view cache" like the "view cookies" button in the cookies part of the privacy tab. No additional information - sorry
This might be similar to bug 255544 . Although there should be a button that pops up the cache manager. As long as I can see the cache, I'm happy ;)
Summary: no easy way to view stored cache in Options--->Privacy--->Cache → no easy way to view stored cache in Options--->Privacy--->Cache

You can see the contents of the cache by going to about:cache.
(In reply to comment #2) > You can see the contents of the cache by going to about:cache. That's fantastic and I didn't know that - however... there should still be a button to link to about:cache or some sort of warning in the menu that tells you about that feature. How will people just starting out know about that if they are used to the IE way?

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
