Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041017 Firefox/1.0 Steps to reproduce: 1. Press / Result: Find bar gets focus. Expected: Page should still have focus, so I can press Enter to follow links. This regression occurred between the Oct 13 build and the Oct 15 build.

Blake fixed this by backing out the patch in bug 251989.

It seems to me like the find bar should get focus...when you hit / you're specifically asking for a text search, not a link search or your default (which could be text or link, if that's fixed). If you hit / and are just trying to search for text, and hitting Enter to go to each new find result, it would be very disconcerting to have one of your Enter hits activate a link. I know you can hit CTRL-G (or F3?) to Find Next...but it seems like a user specifically requesting a text search should be able to use the current behavior of Enter performing a Find Next. Just my $0.02
