At http://www.mozillazine.org, with images turned off or disabled via web
developer extention, using Find-As-You-Type will not search the ALT text.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Turn off images either via Options -> Web Features -> Unchecking Load Images
or by using the Web Developer Extention.

2. Visit http://www.mozillazine.org

3. Try to seach for "Mozilla". The first result should be the top-left
"Mozillazine" search text.
Actual Results:  
Nothing was highlighted, "Mozilla" was not found, according to the Find bar

Expected Results:  
Highlighted "Mozilla" in "Mozillazine" ALT text

Installed extentions include, among others, Tabbrowser Extentions and Web
Developer. I don't think they should effect this issue, however, and I have not
tried with a clean profile.

I will remember to do that sometime in the future (read: when my mouse works again)

I labeled it "major" because a heavily advertized feature, the new find bar, is
"broken" with respect to ALT text.

Ah, someone has reported it.
I looked for it first, but couldn't find it.

I guess it makes sense to DUPE this one, then. It sure would make keyboard
navigation a whole lot faster if it was fixed though :)

(I haven't resolved as dupe because as Jesse says, it could be forked)

I think this is actually a duplicate of bug 234363 (concerning non-displayed
images, orifinally reported on Firefox).
