I do not let mouse button up. Then i move mouse out from that blue sector (i do not let mouse button up) and then, when i am out of that sector, i release mouse button or CTRL key. Result - normal text selection crashes. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Push CTRL (do not let button up) 2.Click with left mouse button (but do not release button up) somewhere on webpage to select sector (holding CTRL) 3.Continue to hold CTRL and left mouse button 4. Move out pointer from that sector (continuing with pushed left mouse button) 5. Release left mouse button and then release CTRL Actual Results: You can't select text with one click and mouse move Expected Results: that i would be able to select text

I can confirm the bug, although step 5 is different for me. I have to release the CTRL first and then the left mouse button. I can reproduce the bug in this bugzilla page, by beginning the selection in one of the comments and ending the selection in the yellow block at the bottom of this page (and following the 5 steps described, except for step 5, which is different for me).

To avoid misunderstandings, I used: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a6) Gecko/20041214 Firefox/1.0+

Yes, my 5. step is incorrect - correct: release "CTRL" and only then "left mouse button".

After the bug is triggered, control-clicking in a sector seems to reset things back to normal such that drag selecting text works once again.
