I have a cgi script on my page that verifies incoming requests are from certain pages on my website using the HTTP_REFERER environment variable. Every browser except Mozilla correctly sets this variable. Click on any audio file link on the URL supplied in mozilla, and any other ns/ie/opera browser to see the difference.
This is a dup of bug 1582 - Send HTTP_REFERER value to server.
