Mozilla hangs, wont run on WinXP pro 64 bit edition

Mozilla installs on WinXP 64bit Professional pre-release, but hangs, displaying 
the yellow mozilla logo. I have to kill it from the taskmanager.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install 1.7.3 on WinXP Pro 64 bit edition
2.try to run mozilla after install
3.Wait, then kill hung Mozilla

Actual Results:  
Killed mozilla using taskmanager

Expected Results:  
Opened Mozilla browser

I get no error messages.
