Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8a4) Gecko/20040928 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8a4) Gecko/20040928 I wish I could give better details. Suffice it to say that Firefox PR is vastly more stable for me than Firefox 1.0 (or any of the recent nightly builds). The problem is that I will be adding extensions, restarting the application, using the web and then I will click on a link or checkbox and then get the spinning wheel showing that the application is busy. The wheel never goes away. Trying to "Force Quit" fails to kill the application processes. Also, any attempts to launch other applications from that point on fail. Likewise, I am unable to shut OS/X down. I am forced to "hard shutdown" the machine by holding the power button down for three seconds. In the most recent instance of this occuring, I was unable to start either Firefox PR or Firefox 1.0 after restarting the machine. I tried deleting my profile, but that did not help. Something is deeply messed up! Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: The crash occurs at unpredictable times and I have not been able to discern reproduction steps.
