Create a new tab with the "new window" button, with "file, new tab", or any
other method, and the address bar gets focus.
Create a new tab by double clicking on the tab bar, and FastFind gets focus. Muy
annoying.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Double click on tab bar to create new tab
2. Start typing: Fast find gets focus.
3. Create new tab with "new window" or "new tab" button, type, address bar has
focus.
Actual Results:
Fast find had focus instead of the address bar.
Expected Results:
The address bar should have had focus.

confirmed with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5)
Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
it should focus the Location bar after creating a new tab.

I'm not a Firefox developer, but I am confused, that this bug seems to get quite
little attention. Well, I see, it's not a stability problem, but it's a bug
which severely reduces the usability of Firefox. Every few minutes in everyday
handling, which is normally one of the big adventages of Firefox. Sorry for the
personal style of this comment. jo)

I can duplicate this problem.
I'm not sure this is a find-bar issue. It seems more like a focus issue when
opening a new tab by double-clicking the tab bar. If you ise ctrl-t or right
click the bar and select "new tab", the url bar has the focus as it should.
When double-clicking to open a new tab, the url bar does not have focus.
If the patch for bug 264652 gets in, we will no longer have an issue with the
find bar opening, but we will still have the underlying issue with the URLBar
not being focused in this case as it should be.

The underlying issue is basically bug 230401

It seems like this is likely a dup of either the above bug, Bug 264562, and/or
Bug 269712.
