I tried to buy a Microsot Intellimouse and a book in amazon uk (www.amazon.co.uk)
When I proceeded to checkout I got a message that said Firefox and Amazon don's
share an encrptyon key. I went back and got: 'This form contains no data'
I restarted the browser but ever time got: 'This form contains no data' when I
proceeded to checkout my order

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to www.amazon.co.uk
2.Buy something
3 Checkout
4 Error

Actual Results:
A message 'This document contains no data' appears

Expected Results:
Go to a checkout order page
I have seen something similar on two machines. It only appears to happen when
attempting to log on to amazon.co.uk. The message says "Firefox and amazon.co.uk
cannot communicate securely because they have no common encryption algorithms".
Amazon.com and other secure sites work. Another "interesting" feature is that
the error only occurs in a clean install of Firefox 1.0. If I revert to a clean
install of Firefox 1.0PR, then install Firefox 1.0 over the top of it,
amazon.co.uk works OK.
I've done a bit more digging, and it looks like installing over an old version
is a red herring. Sometimes it will connect, and sometimes it won't. It looks
like it might be the worst of all possible bugs - an intermittent one!
One more addition to the clean install above. The problem persisted despite
having uninstalled the updated version and installing 1.0 afresh.

the problem went away only when i removed/renamed into
C:\Documents and Settings\mayuresh.kadu\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox and
restarted firefox.
I have also noticed a problem with the US version of Amazon.com - it works for
the most part, but when you're checking out, the continue buttons are invisible!

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
