26968 - [Blocker]Exit Messenger hangs application

Description

Linux (2000-02-08-08 M14)
Steps:
1. Launch Messenger using the -mail option
2. From the Messenger, click on the X widget (or File|exit) to close Messenger

Actual result: Messenger gets hung up. I have to kill the process to close it.
This problem does not happen when I exit Navigator.
Expected result: It should not hang.

Waiting for Mac and win32 builds to test..

Same as http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=26926 although the other bug 
is filed agains Win32.

Ok, Fenella says this is also on Windows so it's probably the same as

I do not see this problem any more in all 3 platforms.
