Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
When I press Apple-F to bring up the find toolbar whilst the cursor is in an
editable textarea, no search matches - i.e. it doesn't search the textarea's
contents. This only happens in version 1.0 - the beta versions allowed you to
search textareas using the find dialog box, also accessed from Apple-F.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a page with a text area
2. Press Apple-F (or Ctrl-F on a PC)
3. Enter text that exists in the text area (that you can read) and it doesn't
find it
Actual Results:
The search text area turns red and "Phrase not found" blue text appears.
Expected Results:
Highlighted the word in the textarea that I was looking for.
