Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

When text in an entry field is highlighted (because it's the Find string and the
Highlight function is active), that text cannot be selected. Also, if the
insertion point is next to the highlighted text, pressing an arrow key does not
move the insertion point into the highlighted text. It either stays where it is
(for left or right arrow), or goes to the beginning or end of the text (for up
or down).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type some text in the Find field that appears in a text entry field.
2. Click the Highlight button.
3. Try to select the highlighted text or move the insertion point into it with
the arrow keys.

Actual Results:
Clicks on the highlighted text are ignored, and the insertion point cannot be
moved into the highlighted area with the arrow keys.

Expected Results:
Highlighted text should behave exactly the same as the rest of the text in the
entry field.

Highlighted text outside of entry fields can be selected normally with the mouse.
