User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Pressing the keyboard shortcut Shift+Left Click only opens a link in a new window about half the time. Pressing Ctrl+Left Click only opens a link in a new tab about half the time. Pressing Shift+Enter or Ctrl+Enter does not open a new link at all. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Visit a page with multiple links, such as http://www.techweb.com/headlines_week/ 2.Try to open a link in a new window or tab, using a keyboard shortcut 3.Right-click+W and Right click+T always work, but Shift+Left click and Ctrl+Left Click are erratic. Actual Results: None of the links would open correctly with keyboard shortcuts at the URL I listed. Expected Results: The links should have opened in a new window or new tab, using the keyboard shortcuts. I use the Zip (non-installer) version of Firefox without any extensions or themes.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041119 Firefox/0.9.1+ WFM with the article links on http://www.techweb.com/headlines_week/.
I believe this is "Ctrl-click on links opens in same tab when PC is busy" If not, reopen. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 265626 ***
