Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040910 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040910 when using two screens (e.g. Laptop and external screen) and using in XP the extended desktop mode and Mozilla (Browser, Composer etc) is on the second screen, then when a menu (FIle, Edit View etc) is opened, the drop down menu is opened on the first screen. this is also true for some other subsidiary windows such as download manager Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. select "extended desktop" from graphical options of the XP system 2. reduce Mozilla, drag to the second screen 3. Mozilla can then be maximized or not, the result is the same 4. click on any menu item (e.g. Edit) Actual Results: the drop down list will open on the first screen, and it is very awkward to be able to select an item in the list without closing the list while moving the mouse pointer from one screen to the other Expected Results: opened the drop down list on the screen where the menu item is (e.g. just under FIle or Edit) see also bug 236614 for another problem with extended desktop mode
