278050 - Grey box overlay when using a pulldown on apple.com

Using the 01-11-05 binary for OSX on 10.3.7. The problem that I found is that on
apple.com any pull down, when selected, leaves a large grey box. This box is the
same size of the space that the pull down was. It also seems to float on top of
any other window. This mystry box can be removed by selecting the pull down
again and either select the same option or click outside the pulldown. This
clears the box. It's odd, I had been using the 12-21-04 binary for a while and
tonight I noticed this happing when I was checking out the new releases from Apple. 
Heres the clincher though. I can only replicate this problem on apple.com. I've
posted some screen shots here:

Does it only happen at Apple, or on any site ?

This is the URL that I noticed it on initaly:

But when I was playing with it last night any pulldown on apple.com that I could find would do it.

And as stated in my inital post I was not able to replicate this on any other site, just apple.com.
