On any page assembled with Microsoft Frontpage, text box contents will not be 
displayed, regardless of whether there are words or pictures.

Surprisingly enough, FrontPage does seem to make pages that are barely
functional, or not at all functional, in anything other than IE. In this case, I
assume you mean the actual pictures of the people. Well, you give us
http://www.burkedems.com/burkedemocrats/id2_files/image001.gif - an image that's
just the background - while IE, inside that whole section of proprietary "if
this is IE" comments (the <!--[if gte vml 1]>, which is all a 20-some-line HTML
comment, but IE interprets it), gets to have
http://www.burkedems.com/PicturesAndInserts/Picture/15.jpg overlayed on top.

Maybe it's possible to persuade FrontPage to produce HTML that works equally
well in browsers that aren't IE, but I suspect that it would be harder than
writing the HTML by hand.
