I guess it is the faulty HTML code on this page. See
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.palottery.state.pa.us%2Ftemplate%2F

There is an unclosed a tag

<A href="http://www.palottery.state.pa.us/lottery/palotto/winResults.htm$] "
target=_BLANK>

and all subsequent links are shown in the status bar as
http://www.palottery.state.pa.us/lottery/palotto/winResults.htm$]. The payout
links should show as
http://www.palottery.state.pa.us/lottery/PALotto/payOut.asp?i=XXXXX.

Interestingly if I click on a link and hold the mouse down I see the correct
href in the status bar, but clicking it goes to the wrong one.

So I guess this is a Tech Evang bug and the webmaster of the site should be
informed.
Summary: Cannot access selected links from this page. → palottery.state.pa.us - Cannot access selected links from this page.
I am using a recent trunk build of Camino, but I think that I am seeing
the same thing.

The link you are taken to when you click on a large area that overlies
the central portion of the page is:

<span><a href="http://www.palottery.state.pa.us/lottery/palotto/winResults.htm$]
" target="_BLANK"><font color="#0000ff"> ..

and is shown as such in the status bar.

If you bring up the context menu for one of the actual links you can, in fact,
open the link of your choice in a new tab.

I am not sure whether this behaviour is correct or a bug, but it seems to
be what is requested by the page.

See previous comment: Perhaps there is simply a typo in the html?
The way the (invalidly nested) links behave is bug 266932, but since they
probably don't want to exercise that bug, this particular page doing it is TE.

This seems to be WFM. It looks like the page no longer exists as the link brings
you to the index page for the PA lottery.
