Preferences -> General Information does not fit into the space available, and is not inside a scrollbox
. (Using ion3 window manager)
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041128 Firefox/1.0 (Debian package 1.0-4) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041128 Firefox/1.0 (Debian package 1.0-4) The UI page: Preferences -> General Information does not fit into the space available for the dialog box when I use ion3 in 1280x1024 mode. Unlike the other tabs this page is not inside a scrollbox. So the lower options are overlayed by the ok button. In ion3 the height of popup windows is always have the height of the window, so I can't make the window bigger as a workaround. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use the ION3 windowmanager at a 1280x1024 (or lower) resolution. 2. Open firefox 3. open the preferences -> general page. Actual Results: Lower part of the general setup items is invisible. Expected Results: Display a scrollbar.
Preferences window was reworked recently, please check if the latest nightly builds still have this problem. http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/
I still have this bug in Deerpark alpha, for example the security part of preferences still is "missing" text/part of buttons. I'm using KDE 3.4
The "General" panel is sized properly with the latest Deer Park Linux build. Also, in repsonse to the reporters expectation of a scrollbar appearing; We do not want that, the Panel should be large enough to display all of the Pref content. Please refer to bug 284713 for Pref Panels on Linux not displaying all the content in the default panel size. marking this WFM
