Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 On standard webpage that has virus, download manager pops up and the virus gets on the computer before the user accepts the file to be downloaded. This allows viruses to still get on the system even if the user wants to choose no or cancel the download even before it has started downloading a specfic file. This can be fixed by blocking the anymous file intel the user chooses what he or she wanted to download that file or pop up virus. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Cant be fixed by firewall or Virus Scanner, because part of the file is already on the system. 2.If a file promps you to download and you didnt choose to download anything or on a standard webpage, close that download pop up immeditly. 3.Dont let firefox download, inless the user wanted that file, because it may be a virus. Actual Results: Nuthing , the virus spread even when i had three virus scanners, i havent found way to fix this, myself. I cleaned virus off and tried that virus infected page agin and got same virus back. A few worms and trojens! Expected Results: Waited for me to accept or deny the download, because i didnt ask to download it. This was the reason for people wanting to use firefox, they feel its more sucere , and more of what the user wants.
