Hello!
We are an independent Linux distribution vendor headquatered in Moscow, Russia,
and we would like to have a permission to use Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird
names and logos.

We have become acquainted with the most recent versions of the trademark policy
documents and we realize that we should send you a signed agreement.
Could you please send us a form of this agreement? Or is it free-form?

1. We change the start page in Firefox to the internal index.html of the
distribution.
2. We would like to change the bookmarks to the country- and
distribution-specific websites (the topics are hardware, IT news, Linux news,
ALT Linux and certainly Mozilla). Your permission is needed.
3. We would like to add the popular Yandex search engine to the list of the
default engines (by far it is the most effective when you search for pages in
Russian). Your permission is needed.
4. We build Firefox and Thunderbird with platform-specific keys, which do not
introduce any functional changes.

It seems that we conform to all the requirements except the bookmarks and search
engine, which need your permission.

Do I understand it right that the next step is to print the distribution
trademark policy, state that 'we agree to the terms of this policy' and mail it
to you?
You don't need additional permissions for the bookmark changes - it's bullet
number 2) in the policy.

You may add Yandex to the list, but you can't change the default. 

Hope that's OK :-) If so, mail back the form as it asks.

This should be a silly question, but.. which 'form' do you mean?

http://www.mozilla.org/foundation/trademarks/distribution-policy.html is a set
of instructions, it does not contain any fields to fill in.
I meant the instructions in the last paragraph.
