Calendar should remove datetimepicker control related files and forms, such as
eventDialog, should use the new datetimepicker controls inside /toolkit

Reproducible: Always

Summary: calendar should use the toolkit's datetimepicker controls → calendar should use the toolkit's datetimepicker controls
Andrew,
Calendar is built for several different products, including Seamonkey
(Mozilla Suite) which does not use toolkit. Therefore, switching to the toolkit
datepicker would remove this compatibility. I suggest this bug be marked invalid.
this is not invalid. it just depends on some other bugs. (like packaging the
toolkit datepicker for xpfe)

Now that we have effectively abandoned the calendar extension, what is the status of this bug?

Still applies to Sunbird and Lightning.

Whiteboard: [qa discussion needed]
Since the toolkit controls are in the trunk only, this is something we can only do once we no longer have to support Thunderbird 1.5 and Thunderbird 2.0.x. Therefore, this is a bug that will be resolved far in the future from now, but it is a bug and should be confirmed.

Confirming.

This will be solved once the discussion in bug 275253 has landed.

I think this isn't a good idea. Lets stick with what is planned in bug 275253c
