User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Problem was on a friends computer - user agent unknown When the clients runs Firefox (1.0), their computer connects to the internet, but Firefox tries to access the page before the connection handshake is complete. Therefore, it says that it can't find the page. Once you refresh, it loads without a problem and continues like it should. This is fixable by changing the value "network.http.request.max-start-delay" in about:config to about 1000, but it would be better if it was set to this on default. Also, it might be better if there was a value that dictates the delay for the first request in a session. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start Firefox on a computer that needs to dial to reach the internet. 2.Go through the appropriate connection procedure. 3.The problem occurs Actual Results: Firefox stated that it could not find the domain name Expected Results: Firefox should have loaded the page
