Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050223 Firefox/1.0.1 Build Identifier: Would it be possible to get rid of the mbox format? Maybe this format is a standard in the (old) unix world, but is it still necessary to use this format? Today we've modern file systems and enough harddisk space to have one file per mail instead of one file per folder (mbox format). By getting rid of the mbox format, we could improve the use of profiles in LAN and we would have less problems with antivirus software. Today many antivirus applications are deleting the entire inbox (or another mbox file), when "repairing" oder deleting a virus. The switch to the Mozilla 2.0 platform could be the (only) chance to switch the file format. Reproducible: Always
