Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20050210 Firefox/1.0 (Debian package 1.0+dfsg.1-6) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20050210 Firefox/1.0 (Debian package 1.0+dfsg.1-6) I have tried various combinations of -display and DISPLAY= and -remote, but I have been unable to get firefox to open windows on both screens of my X display. After running firefox on one screen (say :0.0), any attempt to open a window on the other screen (:0.1) either results in a complaint that there is no window there to talk to, or a complaint that firefox is already running and therefore I need to select a different profile (but I don't want to have to keep two profiles in sync just to use both screens). This is a traditional non-xinerama two-screen configuration. (I don't want xinerama because I want to be able to unplug the external monitor from the laptop and start more applications without any risk that they land on the other screen where I can't see them). Reproducible: Always
