User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr-FR; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050223 Firefox/1.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr-FR; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050223 Firefox/1.0.1 When Firefox turbo mode is used, eg launch with the -turbo flag, Firefox is started in background and stays in systray. But if you select the option "open a new windows in a new tab", when no firefox is launched, the next time you will click on a link outside firefox, it will close systray. Tested on Firefox 1.0.1 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch Firefox with option : -turbo 2. Click on Tools > Options..., select Advanced and click on Tabbed Browsing 3. Select open a new windows in a new tab 4. Close all firefox windows (firefox remains in systray) 5. Click on an URL (like a link in a mail) 6. Firefox will open the URL but firefox in systray will be closed.
Turbo mode is no longer supported in Firefox, so don't expect it to work well (or at all). Sorry about that. Closing the bug.
