At the end of import, if errors are reported there is no way to output the list
for later review.  A saved log file or even the ability to select/copy and paste
from the error message box would be great.

Changing the UI so that the import "log" is selectable should be quite simple.

Profile importer logs are available in the Error Console now. To log debug info as well set mail.import.loglevel to All.
