Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
There are many ways to reproduce this error and they all come back to the same bug.

1. Close firefox while running a plugin that does not release cleanly after
close, this causes firefox to remain open in the background and lock the current
profile that is in use.

WMP, Real, Flash, and Adobe Reader all seem to do this.

Actual Results:  
Firefox cannot access the default profile.

Expected Results:  
Firefox should open cleanly, using the default profile.
