Bookmarks disappear.  Profile back to installation default.  History still there.
This problem has been occurring since Firefox 0.9. 

It still occurs, although since upgrading to 1.01, not as often.  I don't see
any refence in the release notes to fixes in 1.02, but I'm going to try it.

I do computer consulting and would like to recommend Firefox to my less computer
literate clients but can't due to this problem.

So I have been installing Mozilla on client computers.



Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Shutting power off on compueter without software shutdown sometimes does it.
Although, not so often with 1.01.
2.  Sometimes, logging in as different users, then loggin back in as first user
does it.

Actual Results:  
Bookmarks all gone.  Just as if you've never used the progam.  I just reimport
from IE or Mozilla or Netscape.  Then rearrange personnal toolbar etc.  Then use
it for a while before it happens again.

Firefox.
