When you try to save any image, or the html file, or a pdf file from a web-site,
you get one of two results.
Either it says it could not save the file %temp_file_location/file.ext because
the server file is corrupt or damaged

or

it gives no error, and just doesn't save the file.

This only happens with 1.8 beta, not with 1.75 or 1.76

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to web page of your choice
2. Attempt to save an image on the page by right click save image as
3. get error

Actual Results:
Error that it could not save the file in temp space because the file on the
server is damaged or corrupt, and fails to save the file
or
No error, and still doesn't save

Expected Results:
It should save the file to location specified.

I installed 1.8b last week, and immediately had this issue. I do not have the
issue with Firefox 1.0.1, MSIE 6, or with my prior version of Mozilla 1.7.5

I uninstalled 1.8b, re-installed 1.7.5, and the issue disappeared. Re-installed
1.8b and it came back again. no problems during install of the software, and no
other bugs that I can observe.
