Whenever I open a new Firefox window, the history sidebar is up. I can close it,
but it's mightily irritating to do so for every window I open. I can't find any
preferences that might affect this, though it's entirely likely that I'm missing
something.

This just started tonight.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Firefox
Does this happend in safe mode (start menu/all programs/mozilla firefox/mozilla
fireox "safe mode") as well?
WFM: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050720
Firefox/1.0+

pleae reopen if you can reproduce with a nitghly build
