User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 The Page http://www.windows.com/Passion/main.html has a flash animation. This is displayed only in about a third of the page. It is supposed to be displayed so as to occupy the entire horizantal width of the screen. This renders properly in Opera 8 even with the User agent identification changed to Mozilla. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.windows.com/Passion/main.html. 2. Visit the same using Opera 8 or Konqueror 3.3.2. 3. See the difference in the displays. Actual Results: The other browsers display the animation correctly. Firefox does not. It displays only about a third of the animation. Expected Results: Firefox should have displayed the animation fully, occupying the horizontal width.
works fine on Windows XP (Firefox 1.0.4)
This works fine for me too on Windows 2000.
On linux, I see this with firefix 1.0 - 1.0.4, but not Mozilla 1.7.x and not firefox trunk... so this is a bug introduced by the FF folks on their aviary branch, but only security fixes are being accepted there now. resolving WORKSFORME reopen if you can reproduce the bug with a trunk build
