The new preference dialog on (at least Tiger - 10.4.1, and most likely Panther), uses the old style tab 
widget for going to subpreferences.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Firefox on Mac OS X Tiger
2. Goto preferences
3. See the ugly tab selection widget in use
