Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050525 Firefox/1.0+
The latest CVS version of firefox is very unstable on my Solaris 10 sparc system.
I have been checking out the very latest CVS version and am able to successfully
build but after firefox starts I see several problems. One is that when firefox
has a bunch of tabs open at some point it seems to get confused and when I click
on a link it opens a new window for the link instead of opening the page in the
current tab. The new window doesn't have the normal control icons or address
bar that firefox normally displays and if I click on a link in the new window,
the new window closes and opens in the original tab window. After this happens
I get a core dump. I've got about 8 FF cores I can add to this bug. I also see
stderr output like:
(Gecko:8283): Gdk-WARNING **: GdkWindow 0xdc2ed3 unexpectedly destroyed
(Gecko:8283): Gdk-WARNING **: GdkWindow 0xdc2ed2 unexpectedly destroyed

Segmentation Fault - core dumped
Note, I do have these extensions: flashblock 1.3.1, Sage, 1.3.1, Enhanced
Bookmark Search 0.1.3.0
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open about 40 tabs at once on different websites
2. keep browsing (perhaps open some new FF window sessions also)
3. Eventually it will blow up
Actual Results:

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".
This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
Thank you for your help in this matter.

This looks like a dup of: 244482
I am using a PC with Windows XP Pro, running Firefox 1.5 with the following extensions:
Talkback 1.5
Adblock Filterset.G Updater 0.2.6
Forecastfox 0.8.2.5
Rikaichan 0.5.4
Image Zoom 0.2.1
Adblock 0.5.2.039
IE View 1.2.7
Tabbrowser Preferences 1.2.8.8
Print Preview 0.5.1
Fasterfox 1.0.1
Download Statusbar 0.9.4
infoRSS 0.8.9.5
I have had the same problem as the reporter has, but it only started after I installed the Firefox 1.5. I can provide the "details" file provided to me when I reported the issue via Talkack if necessary.

I have the same exact behaviour in Firefox 1.5.0.7pre
on Solaris 9
Do these all describe the same behaviours or are they
related?
