When trying to check for revoked certificates by OCSP, the proxy configuration
is ignored. Instead, a _direct_ connection is always used. Behind a firewall,
this connection will be blocked (and eventually, alarm will sound at that admin,
because some suspicious software on a PC tries to open an direct connection to
the web ...)
