The firefox browser closes unexpectantly when I try to enter pogo.com java
applet game rooms.  When I restart the browser and go back to the gaming site
the java applet game room loads fine.  Why does firefox keep doing this?

Why don't you include the used JRE version if you report a bug about Java ?
wfm with a current Mozilla trunk CVS and Java Plug-in 1.5.0_01 on win2k3

FireFox is TERRIBLE when playing games on pogo.com and it has been this way
since 1.0.3 came out...it crashes and closes the entire browser al at oncefor no
reason at random times while playing java games.  Sometimes it happens as soon
as you enter a pogo game room, sometimes after several hours.

THIS DOESN"T HAPPEN when using Mozilla Suite 1.8b2

I bet I have sent in 50 talkback reports on this over the last several months.

I am using the most updated version of java. This is the only website I have
seen that is just plain bad on firefox, but fine on IE

I am using a nightly version of Deer Park (zip) and deleted the old zip
directory and used a new profile, but this was happeneing on 1.0.3 and 1.0.4
installer builds too...I really like Firefox (etc,etc) but this behavior really
stinks.

I've been playing games at pogo with a recent Firefox nightly build (deerpark
from 20050626) on winxpsp2 using Java 1.5.0 update 4 without crashing. 

ms_nmelton, if you can update your copy of java to the latest version from
<http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp> "Download JRE 5.0 Update 4".
Uninstall the previous version of the Java JRE then install the new one. If you
still crash, please reopen.
