29900 - [regression]Address Book window has painting problems, that disable the card view

Description

The card view of the address book is no longer being painted when a new card is 
selected by either mouse or keyboard.  The regression happened 2/29/00 between 
9am and 2:30pm.  Paint can be forced by resizing the window or covering the 
window with another window and then bringing the address book back to the front.

Still working through the different possible checkins that may have exposed this 
problem.  So far not much luck.  Nominating for beta1, if we cannot fix this we 
may want to turn off the card view for beta1 because it is really broken now.  
Leaving as NEW since I still have not found an owner for this one.

We can't disable viewing address cards for beta 1 (I don't think so).  People 
will be checking out our new collection address book feature and would want to 
view the contents for the cards.

I agree with what Lisa said. I want to make a big deal out of the 3-pane address 
book and collected addresses features. If this bug isn't fixed, I can't.

It turns out that this started happening between the builds on 2/24/00 and 2/25/
00.  I had been looking for the bug on 2/29 which was incorrect.  Once the day 
was identified, Evaughan identified the problem in a flash.  There is some 
problem with a box that has a scrollbar.  Sending bug to Evaughan at his request.

Using win32 build 2000-03-05-09 on win98, linux build 2000-03-06-08 and mac 
build 2000-02-05-08  this is fixed. Verified
